The International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) is celebrating 100 years of active service to the international physics community. The Finnish Physical Society (FPS) is an official member of IUPAP representing the interests of the Finnish physics community. Joining the centennial celebrations we are planning a scientific photography and image competition. You can submit a photograph you took during a laboratory experiment, or outside while on a field trip, or a visualisation image of your interesting simulation.
Submit your contribution by the 30th of September. The winner will be announced on the 15th of October and will receive a prize of 100€. The winning image and runner ups will be featured on the FPS website.
