Suomen Fyysikkoseura (SFS) on toiminut yli 70 vuotta ja olemme yksi Euroopan aktiivisimmista kansallisista fysiikan seuroista. Viime vuosina seuran jäsenmäärä on tippunut, ja muutokset yhteiskunnassa heijastuvat myös seuramme toimintaan. Johtoryhmässä olemme aktiivisesti keskustelleet kuinka kehittää seuraa ja pitää se aktiivisena toimijana, joka hyödyttää sekä fyysikoita että yhteiskuntaa.
Mielipiteesi ja kommenttisi ovat erittäin tärkeitä. Keräämme niistä koosteen, jonka julkaisemme ja josta keskustelemme seuran vuosikokouksessa Fysiikan päivillä Kuopiossa, jotka pidetään
17.-19.3.2020.

Finnish Physical Society (FPS) has been active for more than 70 years and we are one of the most active national physics societies in Europe. In recent years the number of our members has shown a declining trend and the changes in society reflect also to operation of FPS. In the board we have been discussing how to develop FPS and guarantee that it will keep flourishing and benefit a wide range of physicists and society at large.
Your input will be extremely valuable to us. The results will be gathered together, a summary will be shared to all members and they will be discussed at the Annual Meeting at the next Physics Days that will be organized in Kuopio 17.-19.3.2020.
