The nomination for the FPS Master’s Thesis Prize 2025 is now open for submission. Please fill the submission form.
To be eligible for the 2025 FPS Master’s Thesis Prize, the work needs to have been completed in 2025, be of exceptional quality, and include a significant individual contribution. The whole thesis, including its theory and background sections, have to be exemplary and fluent in presentation. The required grade is the highest possible (5, if the grading is made using the 1-5 grade system, or at least “Eximia”, if it is made using the Approbatur-Laudatur system).
The thesis can be written in Finnish, Swedish, or English. The person who nominates the candidate has to be a member of the Finnish Physical Society, but the canditate doesn’t not need to. The deadline for submitting the nominations is 15.01.2026 at 23:59.
