Physics Days 2026 Hannu Koskinen Presentation Prizes

Every year, the Finnish Physical Society presents four early-career presentation awards at Physics Days. Certificates and €200 prizes are given to the two best oral presentations and the two best poster presentations. The high quality and large number of contributions made the evaluators’ task challenging, and we thank them for their dedication and time.

The 2026 oral presentation awardees are:

Matilda Sipilä, U. Turku, “M-PIE: web application for extracting information on perovskites from text.”
Anton Lutsenko, Aalto University, “Magnonic Fabry–Pérot resonators as programmable phase shifters and nonlinear elements.”

The 2026 poster presentation awardees are:

Lilian Kekkonen, Aalto University, “A Dual-Mode RF/DC superconducting CPW resonator for microwave characterization of sensitive 2D materials.”

Kalle Palmunen, University of Helsinki “Residual energy of fast perpendicular magnetohydrodynamic shocks.”

Congratulations to this year’s winners!
