MS Windows laptops and data projectors will be available in all parallel session rooms. Oral presentations should be prepared in MS Powerpoint (Office 2003 or earlier) or PDF presentation (suitable for Adobe Reader 7.0) format. The length of the oral presentations is normally 12 + 3 minutes, but some sessions may use different lengths; please check the schedule of your session.
Due to the tight time schedule, it is not possible to use your own laptop at the parallel sessions. Instead the presentations should be sent by email to Jussi Lehtola no later than Tue Mar 13. If the size of the presentation and possibly attached movie files exceeds 100 MB, please bring it on a memory stick to the conference site and contact Jussi Lehtola on arrival. If you wish to use transparencies or other technical facilities not mentioned above, please inform Jussi Lehtola as soon as possible.
The poster boards have a size of 97 cm (width) x 250 cm (height). Posters will be attached to them using blu-tack ("sinitarra" in Finnish) or double-sided tape provided by the organisers. The poster sessions will be held in the 'Bolero' and 'Allegro' rooms at hotel Viru; your official abstract code to be found in the Proceedings book will be marked on the poster board. Posters presented on Thursday can be put up on Thursday noon and should be taken down no later than 9 am on Friday morning. Posters presented on Friday can be put up on 9 am on Friday and should be taken down by 6 pm the same day.
