Nobel Lectures

The Finnish Physical Society works on inviting Nobelists in physics to visit Finland and give public lectures. These events are usually hosted jointly by Aalto yliopisto. The latest visits have been by Duncan Haldane ja Michael Kosterlitz in 2016 and by Rainer Weiss in 2017 (seminar at the University of Helsinki and public lecture at Aalto University).

In May 2021 we organize A Night with the Space Nobelists event together with Aalto University and University of Helsinki. The event consists of a series of interviews in Youtube with recent Nobel laureates and some top Finnish space researchers. The event is funded by The Finnish Society of Sciences and Letters and Magnus Ehrnrooth foundation. Read more here. Lue lisää täältä.
